The Legal Resources Centre is a non-governmental organization in Ghana, formed in 1997 with the mission to build a human rights culture within an enduring democratic framework through the establishment of communities steeped in human rights practices. The overall aim of the LRC is to ensure the enforcement of all human rights for every person in Ghana.
The Program in International Human Rights Law at the Indiana University School of Law, has sent ten (10) law interns to work with the LRC over the past eight (8) summers. Their work has included Health & Human Rights/ Torture Victim Assistance, Police Relations, Truth and Reconciliation, Religious Freedom, Womens Rights, Civil and Political Rights, and Rights of Children and Refugees.
Come learn more about the work of the LRC and Dr. Atuguba and how you can help. Current law students with an interest in learning more about being a Human Rights Law Summer Intern in Ghana or any other country are strongly encouraged to join us to obtain more information.
