LL.M. Roadmap ( www.LLMRoadMap.com) is a useful guide for international students who want to study law in the U.S. The book also contains very useful information for all international students in any field who want to study in the U.S.
LL.M. Roadmap explains how to gather information about U.S. university programs, choosing the best U.S. schools and programs for you, how to get scholarship funding, getting a U.S. visa, preparing to travel to the U.S. to study, adjusting to life in the U.S., and how to be successful in your study or law, or in whatever field you are studying.
LL.M. Roadmap also provides very helpful information about finding a job in the U.S. after you graduate. Professor Edwards career development strategies are useful for law students and graduates, but also useful for engineers, business majors, journalists, physicians, sociologists, and any student in any other field!
Professor Edwards book signing will be at: Barnes and Noble at the IUPUI Campus Center from 12:00 2:30.
Barnes & Noble @ IUPUI Bookstore has graciously offered a 10% discount on copies of LL.M. Roadmap purchased during the Book Signing on 1 December 2011. There will also be Holiday Treats, and validation for parking in the Campus Center Garage.
The store is located at the corner of Michigan Ave. and University Blvd., Indianapolis.
Professor Edwards is donating all his personal profits from publication of this issue of LL.M. Roadmap to the International Law Students Association (ILSA) ( www.ILSA.org ). Professor Edwards is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and has been a professor at the Law School on the IUPUI campus since 1997. He is the Founding Director of the Law Schools Program in International Human Rights Law, that has had about 170 IU law student summer internship placements in over 50 countries on 6 continents. The school awards prestigious scholarships for interns air fare, housing, food, and other expenses for their summer internships around the globe.
LL.M. Roadmap would be a great holiday gift for a family member or friend from overseas who wants to study in the U.S. Or, it may be useful for our own international students on campus, who want some tips about how to succeed in a U.S. university environment.
Because profits are going to an international association of law students, you will also be promoting charitable works by purchasing LL.M. Roadmap.
This Indiana book launch follows a successful global launch of LL.M. Roadmap at Harvard Law School on 16 September 2011 and a European launch in Paris, France on 26 September 2011.
Free and open to the public.
I regret that LL.M. Roadmap was not available when I was Director of Admissions of Harvards LL.M. program. I would have recommended it to every recruit and admitted student who passed through Harvard's doors.
