The Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation is proud to host Clare Neumann '09 at its Luncheon Speaker Series on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 12:45 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the IP Center on the Canal.
Law school students with an interest in intellectual property law are invited to her presentation titled Protecting the Brands of Famous Personalities: How to Build, Protect, and Enforce the IP Rights of Icons.
Ms. Neumann is an IP Licensing Executive and Legal Counsel at CMG Worldwide, Inc. in Indianapolis where she represents iconic personalities and brands in the fields of entertainment, sports, music, history, and art. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in Psychology, with a minor in French in 2006. She graduated from Indiana University with High Distinction and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Fraternity. From there she received her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2009. Neumann was a member of the Order of the Barristers in 2007 and served on the Moot Court Board as a Night Justice in 2008. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and the Historical Society of the U. S. District Court for Southern Indiana.
