Bio:

Matthew T. Klein is the Executive Director of Technical Operations for the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor.  Mr. Klein oversees the filing of consumer-focused testimony in electric, natural gas, and water and waste water cases filed before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.  Previously, Mr. Klein served as the Executive Director of the Department of Waterworks for the City of Indianapolis (Indianapolis Water) and as the Assistant Commissioner of Compliance & Enforcement with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.  Mr. Klein has also practiced environmental law with several firms in Indianapolis.  Mr. Klein serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he teaches Environmental Compliance & Enforcement.

Mr. Klein received his B.S. from Taylor University, M.S. from Ball State University, and J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.  He is active with the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and the American Water Works Association.
