If your goal is a career in health law, the Hall Center is where you’ll find opportunities to participate in research, educational programs, and health law externships.

The Hall Center for Law & Health was established in 1987 to expand the curriculum and teaching of health law and provide opportunities for students. With more than 30 health law-related course offerings, you’ll get the benefit of a specialized legal education at an excellent law school situated in a city with a region known for its life sciences and health care industries.

Here, you can join with like-minded students through the Health Law Society, further your experiential education through a health law externship and establish your research credentials by becoming a part of the Indiana Health Law Review

The Certificate in Health Law will serve as a gateway for J.D. students wishing to work in the robust and expanding fields of health law and policy. Graduation with the Health Law Certificate will signal potential employers and collaborators that you have particular knowledge, experience, and skills in various aspects of health care law and policy, and have engaged in a rigorous course of specialized study providing a critical foundation for practice.

You could also choose to pursue one of the many joint-degrees in a health-related field, or our LL.M. in Health Law, Policy, and Bioethics.
