Visiting Scholars Speak at Graduate Studies Lecture Series
On November 7, 2013, Professor Weng Yijie and Professor Zhang Aiyan spoke at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law Graduate Lecture Series. Professor Weng Yijie gave a lecture about changes made to criminal procedure law in the People’s Republic of China by the 2012 amendments. Professor Zhang Aiyan gave a lecture about mental health and criminal responsibility, including a comparison of Chinese law with law in the European Union and in the U.S. Welcome remarks were given by Professor Jim Nehf, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies. An introduction of the speakers was given by Professor Lloyd T. Wilson, Director of the Joint Center for Asian Law Studies.
