IU McKinney Student to be Part of ACLU Event Examining Privacy Rights and Minors
Peter Elliott of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will be part of a panel that will discuss the topic “The Rights of Children & Youth in the Modern Surveillance State” on Wednesday, October 2 beginning at noon. The event is part of the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana’s First Wednesdays program.
Elliott will be joined on the panel by Dave Emmert, general counsel of the Indiana School Boards Association, and Jackie Seuss, ACLU of Indiana Cooperating Attorney. The event is free, and attendees are urged to bring their lunch to the WFYI Reuben Community Room, 1630 N. Meridian St., where the event will be held. Moderator will be Ray Steele of WIBC radio.
