Two IU McKinney Alumnae Named to IBJ's "Women of Influence" List
Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law alumnae Thea Kelly, ’98, and Beth Young, ’83, were named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s list of “Women of Influence” for 2013. They were among 21 women to receive the honor.
Kelly is senior counsel at Dow AgroSciences, and earlier in her legal career worked as a tax attorney at Ice Miller. Diversity in the legal profession is important to her, and she’s served on the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, and the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Diversity Job Fair and Bar Leader Series.
Young is a partner at Robinson Wolenty & Young. A desire to give back to her community led her to search out the now defunct Community Development Law Center, then known as the Community Organizations Legal Assistance Project. She received the Indianapolis Bar Association’s pro bono service award for her work there.
