Mohamed Arafa, S.J.D. '13, Speaks at Boston University, Harvard Arab Weekend
Mohamed Arafa, S.J.D. ’13, was invited to speak at Boston University College of Law on November 8 regarding the current status quo of Egypt and the recent trial of the deposed President Mohammad Morsi. In his talk, titled “Whither Egypt? Real Democracy or Legitimate Authoritarianism?” Arafa provided an update on the recent developments in Egypt specifically the Morsi trial.
In addition, Arafa was invited to speak at Harvard University on November 9 as part of the 7th Annual Harvard Arab Weekend.
Arafa was part of a panel discussion hosted by the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section’s Global Anti-Corruption Committee, which was part of the Harvard Arab Weekend events. Arafa presented his talk "Corruption in Arab World: Initiatives," as part of the ABA panel titled “Anti-Corruption Initiatives in the Arab World” as part of the events at Harvard.
