Visiting Scholars from China Arrive at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law

Five visiting scholars from China have arrived at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Zeng YuanyuanZeng Yuanyuan, Ph.D. Candidate at the Renmin University of China Law School (Beijing, China), arrived at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in September 2013. Her area of research is environmental and resource protection law. She is especially interested in legislative means to prevent and treat pollution, including fog haze and ash haze.

 

Yang JianYang Jian, Assistant Professor at the Nanjing Normal University Law School (Nanjing, China), arrived at IU McKinney Law in August 2013. His area of research is legal philosophy, with a focus on the normativity of law.

 

 

Zhang LeleZhang Lele, Ph.D. Candidate at the Nanjing University Law School (Nanjing, China), arrived at IU McKinney Law in August 2013. His area of research is tort law. He is especially interested in a comparative analysis of tort law theories and practices in China and the U.S.

 

Weng YijieWeng Yijie, Associate Professor in the Department of Law at China Agricultural University (Beijing, China), arrived at IU McKinney Law in February 2013. Her area of research is criminal procedure law, especially as it concerns forced confessions and wrongful convictions.

 

Zhang AiyanZhang Aiyan, Professor at the Shandong University of Political Science and Law (Jinan, China), arrived at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in February 2013. Her area of research is criminal law. She is especially interested in criminal law as it relates to issues brought about by advances in life science and technology.
