Professor Ryznar Awarded New Frontiers Exploratory Travel Fellowship
Professor Margaret Ryznar was awarded a New Frontiers Exploratory Travel Fellowship to help fund her residence at Oxford University in late Spring 2014. Her work during this visit will evaluate the ethical and philosophical elements to family law generally and child support particularly, helping to answer questions such as: “To what are children entitled from their parents and society?” and “To what should they be entitled?” She plans to study the English and European family law experiences to explore these questions.
Professor Ryznar joined the faculty in fall 2012, and teaches family law; international and comparative family law; juvenile law; income taxation of individuals, fiduciaries and business associations; and trusts and estates. In addition to contributing to the Huffington Post, she edits the Family Law Prof Blog.
