Cassandra Bentley, '04, Elected Marion County Bar Association President
Cassandra Bentley, ’04, a cum laude graduate of IU McKinney, has been elected president of the Marion County Bar Association. Bentley also is a graduate, with high distinction, of the IU Kelly School of Business.
After stints working at two metropolitan Indianapolis-area law firms, Bentley worked at Ingersoll-Rand Company, and then ran her own solo practice before joining the Marion County Assessor’s Office where she was an inheritance tax analyst. From there, she moved to a clerkship for Magistrate Judge Mark J. Dinsmore of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She is now a judicial law clerk for a federal judge in that same court.
Bentley is a volunteer/advisory committee member of Indiana’s Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program, and serves as a steering committee member for the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Bar Leader Series. She has been a life member of the MCBA since 2007.
