Indianapolis Legal Aid Society Event to Feature IU McKinney Alumni, Professors
A day-long fundraiser for the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society will feature 6.0 hours of continuing legal education credit and several alumni of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Speakers for the event, titled “Second Annual Timeless Tips from the Bench and Bar: 650 Years of Experience” will include Justice Steven David, ’82; retired Justice Theodore R. Boehm; former Justice and now IU McKinney Professor of Practice Frank Sullivan, Jr.; Court of Appeals Judges John G. Baker; Cale Bradford, ’86; Elaine B. Brown; Terry A. Crone; Melissa S. May, ’84; Edward W. Najam, Jr.; Margret G. Robb, ’78; and Nancy H. Vaidik. Speakers will also include attorneys Tom Davis; Ron Elberger; IU McKinney Professor Emeritus William F. Harvey; and Deputy Executive Secretary of the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission Charles Kidd, ‘ 87; among others.
The event will be May 2 at the Indianapolis Marriott North, 3645 River Crossing Parkway. The session will include 1.0 hour of ethics credit, as well as breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon dessert. Cost is $300, and checks and registration forms should be mailed to:
