Professor Fran Quigley, '87, Named to 2014 "Leadership in Law" Class by Newspaper
Professor Fran Quigley, ’87, was named a “Distinguished Barrister” by the legal newspaper, “Indiana Lawyer,” as part of its “Leadership in Law” honors program. Professor Quigley, clinical professor of law at IU McKinney, founded the law school’s Health and Human Rights Clinic in 2011. He also has been active in programs in Kenya, as co-founder of the Legal Aid Centre of Eldoret, and former director of operations for the Academic Model for the Prevention and Treatment of HIV/AIDS.

Professor Quigley’s latest book, How Human Rights Can Build Haiti: The Lawyers, the Activists, and the Grassroots Movement, will be published by Vanderbilt University Press later this year.
