SJD Candidate to Present Paper on Constitutional Aspects of Islamic Law at Harvard
Mohamed Abdelaal, an IU McKinney S.J.D. candidate, will present a paper he has written concerning the constitutional aspects of Islamic law during the conference titled “Heterodox Approaches to Islamic Law and Policy.” The event is part of Harvard University’s Institute for Global Law & Policy and is being held June 2 and 3. The aim of the event is to explore current thinking in the field of Islamic law and policy.
Abdelaal is an assistant professor of constitutional and administrative law at the Alexandria University Faculty of Law in Alexandria, Egypt.
