Sun Yat-sen Students Visit IU McKinney Alumni at Faegre Baker Daniels
Students from Sun Yat-sen University Law School visited the Indianapolis office of Faegre Baker Daniels as part of the 2014 Program in American Law at IU McKinney. During this visit, the Sun Yat-sen students met with attorney Mark Shope, ‘12, a specialist in international law, and Brita Horvath, ‘02, the firm’s manager of diversity and inclusion. The visit permitted the Chinese students to learn about the private practice of law in the United States and gain an understanding of the role of the lawyer in both the American legal system and American society. Faegre Baker Daniels has 750 legal professionals in offices in several U.S. cities, and in Beijing, Shanghai, and London.
