Sun Yat-Sen Students Visit Indiana Supreme Court
Students from Sun Yat-sen University Law School enrolled in the Program in American Law learned about the judicial system in Indiana from Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven H. David, ‘82. Justice David spoke with the students in the Supreme Court Courtroom about the kinds of cases heard by the Supreme Court, the process by which appeals are decided, and the judicial selection procedure. In addition to the Courtroom, Justice David gave the students a tour of the Supreme Court Conference Room, where the five justices discuss cases, and his chambers. In December 2013, Justice David visited the Sun Yat-sen University Law School in Guangzhou, China.
