Professor Nicolas Terry Presents to FTC, IU Medical School
Professor Nicolas Terry was invited to present his new article on Big Data at a meeting of the Federal Trade Commission on July 16 in Washington, D.C. The article is titled “Big Data Proxies and Health Privacy Exceptionalism.”
Professor Terry also was invited to speak at a conference at the Indiana University School of Medicine for the school’s 2014 WATCH Conference, presented by the Wearable Technology in Healthcare Society July 25 and 26 in Indianapolis. Professor will speak on July 25 on the topic “The Law and Wearable Technology.”
Professor Terry is the Hall Render Professor of Law and co-director of the William S. and Christine S. Hall Center for Law and Health. His research interests lie primarily at the intersection of medicine, law and information technology. He is a permanent blogger at the HealthLawProf Blog and at Harvard Law School’s Bill of Health.
