Sun Yat-sen Students Visit Indiana Senate
Law students from Sun Yat-sen University taking part in IU McKinney’s Summer Program in American Law learned about the legislative branch of state government by speaking with two Indiana State Senators: Phil Boots and Jim Merritt. The senators talked with the students about the role of the legislature in relation to the executive and judicial branches and the relationship between state and national governments. The Summer Program is a partnership between the IU McKinney School of Law and Sun Yat-sen University Law School in Guangzhou, China.
