Professor Drobac Presents at the University of Oregon School of Law
Professor Jennifer Drobac gave a talk about her manuscript Worldly But Not Yet Wise: The Sexual Harassment of Teenagers, Their ‘Developing Capacity,’ and the Law’s Response at the University of Oregon School of Law on November 7. The talk was part of a Faculty Lecture series there.
The book, slated for publication by the University of Chicago Press in 2014, explores why the scientific facts concerning adolescent neurological and psychosocial development are incongruent with sexual harassment law.
Professor Drobac joined the law school in 2001. She teaches contracts and sales, family law, juvenile law, sexual harassment law, bioethics, AIDS law, and professional responsibility. She has been honored for her teaching, and is the recipient of the IU Sylvia E. Bowman Distinguished Award, and the IU Trustees’ Teaching Award.
