Visiting Professor Shepard Named to "National Jurist" List of the Most Influential People in Legal Education
Randall T. Shepard, a visiting professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, was named to the “National Jurist’s” list of the Most Influential People in Legal Education.
Shepard is commended for his appointment as chair of the American Bar Association’s Task Force on the Future of Legal Education. The group met at IU McKinney in April 2013. This is the first time the list has included the former Indiana Chief Justice, who also is a distinguished visiting professor in the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.
"It comes as no surprise to me that Justice Shepard has been recognized as one of the most influential people in legal education," IU McKinney School of Law Dean Andrew Klein said. "As chair of the ABA Task Force charged with examining legal education, he brings outstanding leadership qualities, intellect and professionalism to analyzing key issues facing the academy. We are proud to count him as part of the McKinney Law family."
