Two IU McKinney Professors Present at Southeastern Association of Law Schools Conference
Professors Yvonne Dutton and Diana R.H. Winters presented at the Southeastern Association of Law Schools 2013 Annual Conference as part of the New Scholars program. The event was August 4-10 in Palm Beach, Florida. Both professors talked about their recent scholarship during colloquia on August 8.
Associate Professor Dutton presented “Flexibility to Improve: Institutional Flexibility in the CAT and Improvements in Human Rights Practices,” a paper she is working on with Professors Moonhawk Kim and Cody Eldredge of the University of Colorado. Associate Professor Winters discussed her paper titled “Federalism and Food – The Preemption of Food Safety Regulation.”
Professor Dutton joined the law school in August 2012, and is a Dean’s Fellow and a Grimes Fellow. She teaches courses in international criminal law, evidence, criminal law, and criminal procedure.
Professor Winters joined the faculty in August 2012 and is a Dean’s Fellow. She teaches torts, introduction to health law and policy, environmental law, and food and drug law.
