IU McKinney Law Online
Juggling your law studies with your work, your family, and your life, can be a real challenge.
Sometimes life doesn’t fit into hour-long blocks of time every Tuesday and Thursday. Sometimes you need some flexibility --and flexibility is a hallmark of IU McKinney Law. You can take an online course anytime, anywhere, confident that the class meets the same high standards as all McKinney Law courses.
About McKinney Online Courses
IU McKinney Law is proud to offer a number of courses either in a fully online or in a “hybrid” format. Hybrid courses are comprised of a combination of traditional teaching methods and online methods. These courses include required or highly recommended upper-level courses, specialty electives, and courses that are part of one of our eight graduate certificate programs.
Students in the JD program may take up to 15 hours of coursework online, according to ABA standards. New courses are being developed in an online format on an ongoing basis. It soon may be possible to complete one or more certificate programs online.
IU Online charges a $30 per credit hour registration fee for online courses, in addition to tuition and fees already charged for courses at McKinney. See the IU Online page for further information.
