Community Engagement Series

One of the most important debates of the modern era is how governments, in an age of terrorism, can strike the proper balance between civil liberties and public security in responding to crises on our national soil. In this new series of community discussions, the Center intends to  build on the law school's strong legacy of preparing citizens to assume leadership positions in government, the judiciary, and the corporate world by hosting a community engagement series.

The first event in this series will be entitled: Gun Violence & Hoosier Safety: Moving the Discussion Forward. The event, will be cosponsored with SPEA, and will be held on September 19th at the Indiana War Memorial. The event will feature stakeholder discussions involving members of government, law enforcement, as well as community leaders. Further details will follow.
