Access to Inlow Hall
The following rules and procedures govern access to Inlow Hall and will be enforced.
McKinney Law School Students
- Law school students with CrimsonCard University ID access may enter the building through doors governed by electronic card readers starting at library opening through library closing.
Daytime Access (M-F)
All users may enter through unlocked doors at the New York Street entrance before 6 p.m.
Evening Access (M-F)
After 6 p.m. the doors to the building are McKinney CrimsonCard accessible only. Individuals entering the building prior to 6 p.m. may remain until library closing.
Members of the bar, McKinney alumni, and IUI faculty, staff & students
- Members of the bar, McKinney alumni, and IUI faculty, staff, and students needing to utilize Ruth Lilly Law Library materials must make an appointment request to come in after 6 p.m. The security guard on duty will admit those with approved appointments.
Members of the public
- No entry to the public is granted after 6 p.m., however, if public users enter prior to 6 p.m. they may stay until library closing.
Weekend Access
Doors to the building are governed by electronic card readers all day Saturday and Sunday. During this time access to the Ruth Lilly Law Library and Inlow Hall is restricted to current McKinney students, faculty, and staff. Weekend appointment requests are not available.
At library closing, all persons, except those authorized with 24-hour access, must exit all areas of the building. (McKinney faculty and staff have authorized 24-hour access.)
