IU McKinney’s Law School 101: Intro to Law information session is for people who are in the early stages of researching law school and are planning to start law school in the Fall of 2027 or beyond. Virtual and in-person options are available.
In this session you will learn about what you can do with a law degree, careers in law, how to prepare for and get accepted to law school, and how law school works.

Law School 201: Application Process
IU McKinney’s Law School 201: Application Process session is for people who are planning to apply to start law school in the Fall of 2026. Virtual and in-person options are available.
In this session you will learn about the IU McKinney J.D. program and the steps in the application process; establish a timeline for completing the application; get tips on when to take the LSAT and how to prepare; gain advice on how to write an effective personal statement; and take a law school tour (in-person sessions).
