Evacuation Information

IN CASE OF FIRE

Fire alarms will sound - Evacuation is mandatory

Use closest stairway for exit - Do not use elevators

Once outside, move to a safe place (LAWN NORTH OF THE BUILDING OR GRASSY AREA, SOUTH OF PARKING LOT #85)

Remain outside until all clear is given

Designated safe places - Classroom 235D

IN CASE OF SEVERE WEATHER

All occupants in the building should immediately go to designated severe weather shelter locations as noted on evacuation signage, when:

The severe weather warning sirens are activated {except when activated, as they are every friday at 11:00 am for testing)
Instructed by IU Notify
Instructed by law school personnel, via 3 bursts of air horns

Designated Safe Places- Class Rms 300, 379, Court Rm 100, Classroom 235D, Interior Hallways, Windowless Rooms, & Restrooms
