Admitted Students


If you are interested in sharing living space with another law student, please complete the Roommate Request Form (coming soon). The Admissions Office will not match you with a specific roommate but will make your preferences and contact information available to others who have also submitted this form. 

If you are interested in  campus housing, we invite you to contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life or call 1-800-631-3974.

To search for off-campus housing by neighborhood, try these websites: www.apartmentguide.comwww.indyforrent.com, or www.apartmentlist.com. Below is a list of off-campus apartments that are popular with students and are conveniently located near campus. You may also want to check out the Student Advocate Office’s page for additional resources.

  • 1201 Indiana Townhouses & Apartments:
    Newly constructed, fully-furnished, luxurious student housing. Adjacent to the IUPUI campus with IUPUI Brown line shuttle transportation available.
  • Canal Square Apartments:
    Canal Square is located directly across from the IU McKinney School of Law. They offer 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Ask about their student discounts. (when contacting, please let them know you are a student at the Indiana University School of Law)
  • Cosmopolitan On the Canal:
    offers a wide variety of luxurious one-and two-bedroom apartments, studios, and town homes with roof terraces and unprecedented views of the city. With retail on the first floor, and an attached parking garage, you are on the Central Canal within walking distance of the IUPUI campus.
  • Lockefield Gardens:
    Right next to the center of campus, with moderate-to-expensive rental rates. It is usually necessary to be on the wait-list to secure an apartment for the start of the academic year.
  • Nine on Canal:
    Approximately a two minute walk from IUPUI campus. they offer 1,2, & 3 bedroom apartments; rents include all utilities (when contacting let them know you are a student of Indiana University Robert McKinney School of Law).
  • Park Place Apartments:
    Less than a mile from the campus with easy access to IUPUI and to the downtown area, they offer two- and three-bedroom apartments; rents include all utilities, including cable and wireless internet connections.
  • Riley Towers Apartments:
    Riley Towers is located in the heart of downtown. There are studio, 1, 2, & 3 bedroom apartments and Townhomes (when contacting, please let them know you are a student at the Indiana University Robert McKinney School of Law)
  • Senate Manor Apartments:
    Offers recently renovated, affordably priced, one bedroom and studio apartments in the heart of Indy.
  • Collegiate Housing Services:
    Collegiate Housing Services offers roommate placements and individual leases throughout the city. This allows you to avoid the financial risk of having your name on a lease with a new roommate whom you may not know very well.
