Yongqiang Yu (LL.M., ’05)
Senior partner and a member of the managing committee of JunHe LLP, a leading Chinese law firm based in Beijing where he has been significantly involved in more than 500 securities and merger and acquisitions transactions.

Mr. Yu serves as an expert member of the Selfdiscipline Management of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII); an expert member of the Registration Meeting of NAFMII; and a legal expert of the Legal Committee of NAFMII. He also works as an advisor for China University of Political Science and Law.
Mr. Yu previously worked for JunHe and Slaughter and May in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and London.
He was honored as the “Dealmaker of The Year” by the Asian Legal Business Award in 2015 and by the China Law & Practice Award in 2016. In addition, Chambers, Legal 500, Asialaw Profile, and IFLR named Yongqiang “The Leading PRC Lawyer”.
