Aaron Krieger is the Chief Legal Officer of Wellfleet Insurance Company, a Berkshire Hathaway company and one of the nation’s leading providers of accident and health insurance to the higher education market. In his role as CLO, Aaron is focused on executive strategy and maintaining nationwide compliance amidst a complex legal landscape. Aaron manages a team of attorneys, paralegals, auditors, compliance and privacy professionals.
Before joining Wellfleet, Aaron supported other Berkshire Hathaway insurance companies operating in the US, European and Asian markets. During and immediately after law school, Aaron also worked for an insurance company headquartered in Indianapolis.
Aaron is also a proud Veteran and former Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force. At Wellfleet, Aaron is the founder and leader of the Military Families employee resource group, which provides support and resources to employees who have a military connection.
Aaron resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his wife and four children. Aaron and his family enjoy spending time outdoors and supporting their favorite soccer teams (their local club, Fort Wayne FC, as well as Chelsea).
