Jamal Abdulrasheed is a corporate attorney and strategic business leader currently serving as Director of Legal Affairs at GEO Foundation and Strategic Advisor to Story League, an elite sports content production company working with NBA, NFL, WNBA and McLaren Racing. He is also founder of Magnolia Green Grooming Co.
Jamal brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, having served as Counsel in the Projects Group at Norton Rose Fulbright, where he assisted with high-value transactions including IRG Acquisition Holdings' $1.5 billion acquisition of a renewables portfolio. His legal career also includes positions at Ice Miller LLP and Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where he represented clients in complex corporate transactions and strategic initiatives.
Currently pursuing his Executive MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Jamal is focused on bridging legal expertise with strategic business leadership. His work spans multiple industries including education, energy, sports and entertainment, demonstrating his commitment to applying legal skills in innovative and impactful ways.
A proud Indianapolis resident, Jamal is dedicated to community service and professional development. He is an Eagle Scout and active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He previously served as an Associate Board Member with Chicago Debates, supporting youth development through competitive debate programs in Chicago Public Schools.
Jamal earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2019, where he developed a foundation in corporate law that continues to drive his career in strategic legal counsel and business development.
