Jenai Brackett is an attorney at Eli Lilly and Company. Her responsibilities at focus on providing global strategic legal advice and practical counsel to the global product development and U.S. brand teams in the Cardiometabolic Health Business Unit. Prior to joining Lilly, Jenai was a partner at Frost Brown Todd, practicing in the firm’s Business Litigation and White Collar Crime & Investigations practice groups. Prior to Frost Brown Todd, Jenai was an attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP in the firm’s litigation department. She spent two summers as summer associate at Barnes & Thornburg while in law school.
Jenai earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2011. During law school, Jenai served as President of the Student Bar Association. She was also actively involved in the Moot Court Program where she served on the Moot Court Board, named to the Order of the Barristers, and awarded the Mitzi H. Martin Moot Court Award for Best Advocate in the Preliminary Rounds. Jenai was an advocate in the American Bar Association’s national moot court competition, and coached the ABA moot court team as a 3L. Jenai also held positions on the Dean’s Tutorial Society as the Fellowship Director and on the Dean’s Student Advisory Board.
Jenai is currently a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s In-House Counsel Division and is on the Board of Coburn Place Safe Haven, an organization that offers compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
