
Adriana Figueroa
Senior Staff Attorney, Indiana University Health, Inc.
Adriana Figueroa is an Assistant U.S. Attorney for U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana. In that role, she serves as the Office’s Civil Health Care Fraud Coordinator where she investigates and litigates civil health care fraud cases on behalf of the United States. She also investigates and litigates civil rights violations and defends federal agencies in lawsuits in a wide range of areas, including employment, torts, and foreclosures.
Prior to her current role, she clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson, practiced as an employment litigator at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, and served as a Senior Staff Attorney at IU Health.
Born in Mexico, Adriana immigrated to the United States at age seven and was raised in Indianapolis, where she currently resides. Deeply committed to the community, she serves as Vice President of the Board of Christamore House and Board Member of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Her prior service includes Chair of the Hispanic Lawyers Division of the Indianapolis Bar Association and Board Member of Westminster Neighborhood Services.
Adriana was selected to participate in the Indiana Latino Leadership Circle in 2022, a two-year initiative focused on mentoring and empowering emerging Latino leaders. She also participated in the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy, a program designed to cultivate leadership within the legal profession.
As a result of her commitment to the legal profession and community involvement, in 2022, Adriana was a recipient of the Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law “Up and Coming Lawyer.”
