Hon. Daniel R. Coats, '72 is a senior counsel in the Public Policy and Government Advocacy Practice Group of the international law firm King & Spalding. Prior to joining the firm, Senator Coats served as U.S. Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany from 2001 to 2005. A former member of Congress, he represented Indiana in the U.S. Senate from 1989 to 1999 and in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1981 to 1988.
