Panel Discussion and Book Signing
A Legal Retrospective on the Recent Unpleasantness at Conner Prairie

This panel discussion will explore the law of charitable trusts and nonprofit organizations by analyzing the legal controversies that led to the creation of the Conner Prairie Interactive History Park as an entity independent of Earlham College, its original owner and trustee. Topics to be discussed include drafting and interpretation of charitable trust instruments, nonprofit governance, fiduciary duties, conflicts of interest and the state attorney general’s role in supervising charitable trusts.
