About Alex Okafor
Alex Okafor has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ebonyi State University Abakaliki in Nigeria. He was called to the Nigerian Bar after his successful completion of the one-year mandatory law school at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos. He was in the Criminal Litigation Department in the Ministry of Justice of Akwa Ibom State. He joined as an associate partner at the Prospect Chambers Co. He is a member of the prestigious Nigerian Bar Association, a member of the West African Young Lawyers Association, and a stakeholder of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). He is currently pursuing his Master of Laws in the Corporate and Commercial Law track.

About Sheikh Mohsin
Sheikh Muhammad Mohsin is a practicing attorney in Pakistan who has come to United States to pursue his Master of Laws. He has worked as an intern in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Pakistan. He has done LLB and MSC Criminology and Security Studies from the University of the Punjab. He also has a diploma in Forensic Sciences and Relevant Laws along with a diploma in International Affairs. He loves criminal law and intends to join the judiciary after his LLM so that he can enhance the Criminal Justice System of Pakistan.

Topic: BRAZILIAN HEALTH LAW AND JUDICIAL REVIEW
The presentation aims to set forth an overview of the Brazilian Health Law as well as how it is approached by the Brazilian Constitution and the Federal Law n. 8080/1990, which deals with the Unified Health System. It will also present an analysis of the jurisprudence of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court that showcases the judicial review of public health policies.

Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Paraná. Lawyer with expertise in Labor Law, Social Security Law, Torts and Civil Law. Member of Advanced Studies Center for International Law and Sustainable Development of the Catholic University of Paraná in 2015/2016. Reviewer of the Journal of the Doctrine and Jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the Federal District and the Territories in 2015/2016. Member of the International Law Committee of Paraná Bar Association in 2015.
