Jeffrey O. Cooper served two terms as law clerk to the Honorable Louis H. Pollak of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and also clerked for the Honorable Guido Calabresi of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In between clerkships, he was in private practice in Washington, D.C., where he specialized in labor and employment law. Immediately prior to joining the faculty, he was an associate research fellow at Yale Law School.
Professor Cooper was elected to membership in the American Law Institute in 2003. In 2005, the Indiana Supreme Court appointed him to a five-year term on the Court’s Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure.
