Bio
Jayme is the School's Assistant Dean for Alumni Relations. In this role he is primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the over 12,000 alumni from the Law school's various academic programs. He works directly with the McKinney Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Black Alumni Council, and various other alumni representative bodies both domestic and abroad.
Jayme is the IU McKinney School of Law's first full-time assistant dean for alumni relations and comes to School with over 20 years of higher education and member affinity non-profit programming experience. He has worked with the IU Indianapolis Office of Alumni Relations where he managed programs for the IU School of Medicine, Fairbanks School of Public Health, the Student Organization for Alumni Relations, and the IU Indianapolis Regatta. In those programs, he worked most closely with the alumni boards for those schools and developed programming to bring both students and alumni together around topics to help develop competent, informed, and connected professionals. He has worked on campus diversity efforts, including work with the Neal Marshall Alumni Club in Indianapolis (IUAA’s African American alumni club) and the campus’ LGBTQ initiatives, including the LGBTQ+ Faculty Staff Council and the campus’ annual Harvey Milk Cultural Dinner. His most notable contribution to the campus was establishing the IUPUI Regatta, the campus’ homecoming program held each fall on the downtown Indianapolis canal. When not at work Jayme enjoys camping and exploring Indiana State Parks and visiting Disney with his family.
