Bio
Olivia serves as the Senior Associate Director for the Office of Professional Development since October 2022, bringing her passion of coaching students toward meaningful careers and professional development opportunities. With 6+ years at IU Indianapolis, Olivia has worked with career development, student employment initiatives, student employee supervisor development and training, program management, and employer partnerships – on and off campus. During this time, she has been heavily involved with the IU Indianapolis Career Services Council as a voting member, Treasurer, Training and Resources Committee Chair, and now serving as Chair of the Council for the AY 25-27.
Olivia was born and raised in the Indianapolis area until she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where she earned a B.S. in Psychology from Xavier University. After college, she ventured to Austin, Texas for two years where she worked in two nonprofits; an immigration legal agency and then a college access and completion program with AmeriCorps. Olivia was brought back home when she attended Indiana University earning her master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs while working as a Graduate Assistant with the IU Indianapolis 21st Century Scholar program.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, family and friends, going on walks, reading, traveling and live music.
