Bio

Monica G. Wright currently serves as Director of Academic Advising. Monica earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law as a Robel Scholar, where she served as Associate and Articles Editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies and contributed scholarly research on artificial intelligence and bias in judicial systems. She also holds a B.S. in Marketing and International Business from Butler University.

Monica’s legal career has centered on healthcare law and regulatory compliance. As a part-time attorney with Healthcare Concierge Attorneys, LLC and formerly with Quarles & Brady LLP, she has represented physicians and healthcare entities in matters involving employment contracts, medical spa operations, peer review proceedings, and compliance with HIPAA, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and other complex regulatory frameworks. She uses her health law expertise to advise students who have health law career goals. 

 Monica volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem with Kids’ Voice of Indiana, advocating for children in cases of abuse and neglect. Her legal acumen and passion for mentorship allow her to advise students well.
