Joseph Whitsett’s company, TWG Development LLC, found success in the affordable-housing market. The construction and development company he founded, formerly known as The Whitsett Group, grew into a $30 million business in six years.

Now the company has branched into market-rate projects with the opening of 333 Penn Apartments, which it undertook with Ambrose Property Group. The story of the company’s success is in the December 7 issue of the Indianapolis Business Journal. TWG Development also plans to move into markets outside Indiana.

Whitsett is a 1985 graduate of IU McKinney Law.
