Scott Bates, p
resident of the Center for National Policy in Washington, D.C., and a long-serving adjunct professor at IU McKinney School of Law, was the speaker at a meeting of the Indianapolis Committee on Foreign Relations (ICFR) on March 6.
The Center for National Policy connects senior policy makers with the most innovative thinking and research on issues that impact American security. He helped lead the team that produced a dozen reports on homeland security issues ranging from border security to bioterrorism.
Steve Tuchman, ’71, is president of ICFR. The recent meeting was attended by IU McKinney Professor George Edwards, and Ying Chen, S.J.D. ’13, LL.M. ’07.
