05/20/2014
Two IU McKinney students, 3L Tyler M. Alford and 2L Elaina J. Streisel, have been named interns for 2014 as part of the Indiana Court of Appeals’ Carr L. Darden CLEO Intern program.
The 10-week internships will immerse the students in the court’s daily work, guided by some of Indiana’s most accomplished and respected jurists. The interns will also make site visits to other courts and government agencies, including U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, the Indiana Department of Correction and Marion Superior Court.
Alford will be assigned to work with Court of Appeals Chief Judge Nancy Vaidik, while Streisel will be assigned to work with Judge Elaine Brown.
The Court of Appeals has participated in CLEO since its inception in 1997. In 2012, the court named its CLEO internships for Judge Carr L. Darden, ’70, who retired from the court that year and now serves as a Court of Appeals Senior Judge
