Law School to Sponsor United Way Day of Caring Team Again This Year
09/18/2014
The Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will take part as a team in IUPUI’s United Way Day of Caring on October 3, 2014.
Once again taking the lead for organizing “Team McKinney” is Lindsey Mosier, the law school’s admissions information coordinator. She has taken part in the Day of Caring for the past three years. The first two years she was with volunteers from around campus and worked at the Indianapolis Humane Society and Gleaners Food Bank. In 2013 she organized the 7-member team from IU McKinney and worked with other IUPUI volunteers at the Homeless Veterans Assistance Foundation (HVAF).
Mosier is hoping for another great turnout from the law school. “I think we could do a lot of good!” she said. “This is a great opportunity for faculty, staff and students of the law school to volunteer together for a worthwhile local cause.”
To register for the event, fill out the 2014 Day of Caring Registration Form and enter the group code LAW in the appropriate field.* Those who can’t volunteer for the October 3 event but want to take part in other opportunities can check out what The Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement has to offer.
