Bianca Buechner, LL.M., '12, to Lecture on Stem Cell Therapies

Bianca Buechner, an affiliate faculty member of the Indiana University Center for Bioethics, will present a lecture titled “Proven or Approved Stem Cell Therapies: That is the Question” that will explore ethical and regulatory challenges that emerge when scientists struggle to turn biological knowledge into stem cell-based regenerative medicine.
Buechner received an LL.M. in health law, policy and bioethics from IU McKinney in 2012, and her Ph.D. in law from the University of Frankfort in Germany.
The lecture will begin at noon on October 23 at the Health Information and Translational Sciences building, 410 W. 10th St., Room 3139, Indianapolis.
