Tom Easterday, executive vice president, secretary, and chief legal officer of Subaru of Indiana Automotive, was elected to serve as chairman of the board of directors of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for 2015. The 1981 IU McKinney graduate was elected to the position at the chamber’s meeting in Indianapolis on November 6.

A member of the chamber’s board since 1999, Easterday has been a vice chairman, a member of the executive committee, vice chairman of the energy policy committee, and a member of the labor and employment committee. He also is a member of the board of directors of Indiana Business for Responsive Government, the chamber’s political action committee.

Easterday also serves as chairman of the Indiana Automotive Council, president of the Japan-American Society of Indiana, president of the SIA Foundation, and as a member of the boards of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers, the IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, and the Crossroads of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
