Emma Mahern, '14, on WFYI Radio's "No Limits" Program

Emma Mahern, ’14, an associate at Indianapolis law firm Goodin Abernathy in Indianapolis, was a guest on the WFYI radio program “No Limits” on December 4.
The program’s topic was immigration in the wake of President Barack Obama’s decision to not deport 5 million illegal immigrants.
Mahern spent two years living and working at a shelter for Spanish-speaking families in Chicago after her undergraduate education. While in law school, she volunteered at the Julian Center and Catholic Charities, was an intern with the Migrant Farmworker Law Center at Indiana Legal Services, and took part in the Immigration Clinic and the Health and Human Rights Clinic. She is a summa cum laude graduate of IU McKinney.
