Andrew Kossack, '07, Named Chief of Staff and Assistant General Counsel at Indiana Department of Revenue

Andrew Kossack, ’07, has been named chief of staff and assistant general counsel at the Indiana Department of Revenue.
As chief of staff, Kossack will lead the department’s business support divisions, including finance, information technology, public relations, human resources, and project management. As assistant General Counsel, he will support the department’s legal division, which includes protests and hearings, administrative law judge matters, motor carrier services legal, tax policy, and general legal matters.
Kossack has previous experience in state government. He served as general counsel and policy director for the state Office of Management and Budget, and as the education and workforce policy director in the office of Governor Mike Pence, ’86. Most recently, Kossack served as deputy policy director for Foundation in Excellence in Education.
