National Law Journal Touts IU McKinney Law as Pipeline to Congress

In an article entitled “From Law School to Congress” (Karen Sloan, National Law Journal, January 19, 2015), the National Law Journal notes that Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law has four alumni in Congress. Susan Brooks, ’85, who represents Indiana’s 5th Congressional District, comments in the journal regarding the law school’s strong ties with alumni and a plethora of internship opportunities for law students, including working in her office. Dean Andrew R. Klein also talks about the school’s ability to capitalize on its location in Indianapolis through the Program on Law and State Government.
IU McKinney graduates currently serving in Congress are: Dan Coats, ’71, Senator; Susan Brooks, ’85, Representative, IN 5th District; Todd Rokita, ’95, Representative, IN 4th District; Todd Young, ’06, Representative, IN 9th District.
