IU McKinney SJD Candidate Presents at Harvard's Institute for Global Law and Policy in Qatar

IU McKinney S.J.D. candidate Salma Taman presented her doctoral research during the Harvard Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) in Doha, Qatar. Taman’s research is on Islamic banking and the real meaning of interest in Islamic law.
Taman is a graduate of Alexandrian University in Egypt, and received her LL.M. through IU McKinney’s program in Egypt in 2009.
The IGLP is an intensive residential program designed for junior faculty, doctoral students, and post-doctoral scholars conducted annually by Harvard Law School in Doha, Qatar. The goal is to strengthen the next generation of legal scholars and put them in conversation with their global peers.
